JAVA ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS

(M/F/D)

You will work with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction on our challenging, international development and consulting projects, handling tasks ranging from preliminary consulting and requirements definition through implementation to system testing and customer deployment, depending on your interests and qualifications.

The range of topics is broad: it spans from the implementation of integrated automation solutions for the manufacturing industry to Smart Home solutions in the “Internet of Things” and the development of business-critical applications for government agencies and banks.

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or another field of natural sciences or engineering. You are thoroughly familiar with the state-of-the-art in modern software engineering, from UML and OOP to Scrum and Kanban.

Based on concrete project experience, you have a confident and secure command of the Java programming language in an enterprise environment, as well as some of the following technologies or tools:

• Java with Spring, Spring Boot, EJB, or microservices
• Web front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, Angular, React.js, Vaadin, or jQuery
• Integration technologies, such as REST, web services, Kafka, ESB, or messaging
• Container technologies, particularly Kubernetes, Tecton Pipelines, and Docker
• Enterprise security, e.g., with security requirements according to OWASP, Single Sign-On, OAuth2, handling certificates, etc.

Ideally, you have been working in professional software development for several years. However, motivated entry-level candidates with the appropriate qualifications are also welcome.

For our demanding projects, strong written and spoken German and English skills are essential.
