The project
The IT service provider for a major German government agency is responsible, among other things, for defending against cyberattacks on the agency’s IT infrastructure and software environment. This also includes securing the agency’s own agile software development processes. Due to technological innovations and constantly evolving threats, the IT security strategy for defending against cyberattacks must be continuously refined.
The develop group was commissioned to provide ongoing, long-term support for the development and implementation of a comprehensive and flexible IT security solution for the agency’s software development processes and applications.
Our responsibilities
- Support in the design and implementation of a comprehensive IT security strategy to secure the applications developed in-house by the client and the development processes used in that context
- Consulting and coaching for the relevant departments and individuals to ensure security awareness
- Support in the preparation and execution of internal and external security audits
