The project
A large federal agency uses an enterprise application to facilitate the placement of workers and trainees, which models and maps the services offered and the associated business processes. To this end, the development teams are provided with over 30 domain-specific languages (DSLs) and code generators, the output of which consists of three functionally related enterprise applications: a web front end, an application for service provision, and one for batch processing in the backend.
To utilize modern technologies in the application architecture while ensuring performance and IT security, the DSLs and code generators must also be continuously refined. For years, the develop group has been making a significant contribution to this refinement on behalf of the client.
Our responsibilities
- Modernization and modularization of the application architecture and DSLs
- Further development of the DSLs to integrate modern interface technologies
- Implementation of IT security policies in architectural design and development
- Consulting and coaching for the client’s development teams
