The project
For an established manufacturer of sun protection products (e.g., awnings, roller shutters, vertical blinds, etc.), a future-proof software solution was to be designed and implemented that would enable the products—which previously relied exclusively on proprietary wireless connections—to be configured and controlled using mobile devices from any location. Another project goal was to redevelop the entire toolset for commissioning and configuring the products.
